Tomb Raider
Back Story
Deep within the humid heart of the Amazonian jungle lies a sprawling Egyptian complex, hidden from human eyes for centuries. Within the catacombs of the central Great Pyramid rests the Sacred Amulet, an ancient idol said to possess powers that could reshape the world. While many believed the site was a myth, a ruthless band of Raiders has recently occupied the ruins, intent on looting the catacombs and selling the artifacts to the highest bidder. To ensure the future of humankind remains untouched, an elite Commando Unit has been deployed to the jungle to recover the Amulet before the Raiders can escape.
Scenario
The battleground is a movie-set quality game zone featuring a massive central pyramid and a giant stone Sphinx. The mission is an asymmetrical "Attack and Defend" scenario played over two 20-minute rounds. To simulate an overwhelming assault, the Commandos (Attackers) have unlimited lives—if shot, they can return to the yellow re-spawn barrel to rejoin the fight. The Raiders (Defenders) have only one life per round; once eliminated, they must retreat to the designated dead zone. Teams will switch roles between rounds, ensuring everyone gets a chance to both raid the tomb and defend the ancient site.
Mission Objectives
The goal is to secure the Amulet and reach the extraction point. Success is measured by a 10-point scoring system:
- The Commandos (Attackers): Must penetrate the pyramid, seize the Amulet from the central tomb, and reach the helicopter extraction point.
- 10 Points: Successfully keeping the Amulet secured within the pyramid for the full 20 minutes.
- 4 Points: Losing the Amulet but preventing the Commandos from reaching their extraction point.
- The Raiders (Defenders): Must prevent the extraction at all costs by using the Sphinx and stone ruins as cover.
- 10 Points: Successfully keeping the Amulet secured within the pyramid for the full 20 minutes.
- 4 Points: Losing the Amulet but preventing the Commandos from reaching their extraction point.
