Paintball kit – guns and gear from top to toe!
Paintball is a popular outdoor sport enjoyed by a wide range of people aged 10 years up to adults. Despite its popularity, many people are unaware of the specifics of what happens during a day of paintball or the nature of the event. Paintball is in fact a safe sport, despite the hardcore image that it can project. The great thing about paintball is that no advanced skill or prior experience is necessary – full tuition and guidance is issued to all players when they attend a Delta Force paintball centre.

Paintball is in fact a safe sport, despite the hardcore image that it can project. The great thing about paintball is that no advanced skill or prior experience is necessary – full tuition and guidance is issued to all players when they attend a Delta Force paintball centre. We also make it easy for novices to try their hand at paintball in that we provide all the necessary safety equipment. This gives participants piece of mind knowing that the equipment used by your opponent is in top condition and has been safety checked prior to being issued.
The full set of safety equipment issued to players before they begin their day of paintball adventure includes the following:
Goggles:
This is the most important piece of kit in paintball. At Delta Force we regularly inspect our equipment to ensure it meets our strict safety standards. We regularly commission the new design of full head helmets to ensure the head is protected from shots, while also allowing for wide angled vision.
Guns:
We use a range of quality semi-automatic paintball guns across our centres, ranging from the 0.68 calibre Inferno to the Tippmann 98. Both are renowned for their accurate firepower and reliability to perform in the heat of the battle.
Body armour:
In order to protect the upper body, we issue custom-designed body armour that reduces the impact of paintball shots when out in the field. Small, rigid plastic plates are held together by a mesh cover, allowing you to still move with freedom and be protected at the same time. This padded vest also helps you look the part as you charge the fort and win the game for your team!
Overalls:
Our overalls cover your regular clothing from colourful paintball shots, as well as adding a layer of protection. The overalls come with padded collars to shield your neck.
Battlepack:
Battlepacks at Delta Force are custom-designed to hold up to 400 additional paintballs, all in separate holders capable of carrying 100 paintballs each. You don't want to be caught out without paintballs at the key moment in the game, so make sure you secure your battlepack on arrival at your Delta Force paintball centre.
With all this equipment included, you will be transformed from a Regular Joe to the ultimate sniper! The world class standards in place at all 32 Delta Force paintball centres across the UK and Ireland mean that you’re in for a safe and exciting day out when you book your paintball event with us.
