Dartford, with a population of over 89,900, is situated on the northwest corner of Kent in South East England, 16 miles east south-east of central London. The town centre is situated in a valley through which the famous River Darent flows. Dartford has a rich and diverse history, the city is packed with notable houses, churches, and buildings. Dartford also offers a variety of events and activities throughout the many parks, open countryside, and natural woodland within and surrounding the city of Dartford.

Dartford is home to 11 historical churches, the most notable of which is the Holy Trinity church. The oldest part of the church is the lowest section of the main tower and was built between 1050 and 1080 and has made the Holy Trinity church a tourist attraction for Dartford for years.

Dartford offers a long list of activities including walks, cycling, and treks through many of the beautiful parks, open countryside, and natural woodland. Darenth Woods, spread over 300 acres of natural ancient woodland, is a common tourist attraction in Dartford offering people the chance to walk and trek through these woods observing a rich variety of flora and fauna.

For the more active adventurer Dartford is home to a 36ft tall rock climbing wall. Children from the age of 6 yrs old can also participate in attempting to reach the peak of this artificial rock wall.
